Mona Panitz

Mona Panitz,  born in in Brooklyn, New York in 1932, moved to  California in  1960. A secret writer since the age of eleven, she "came out"   five years  ago, when she enrolled in her first Creative Writing Workshop at LBCC. She offers sincere thanks  to  Frank Gaspar, Velvet Pearson, David Lipton, Tony Starros, and most especially Christina Guillen for her  insightful critiques and enthusiastic encouragement. Mona and her husband Ed live in Long Beach.
