BIO: Lisa Naruko was born in Los Angeles and is currently a resident of Long Beach. She compares her paintings to the apple offered by the witch in “Snow White” —pretty to look at, with a hint of poison. Preferring ambiguity to certainty, she informs her paintings with Japanese symbols and pop culture icons. As an artist and student, intern and docent, wife and friend, Lisa nurtures the part-time pieces of a full-time life.
