Art by Jack Miller

Artist’s Statement:

"I am interested in the imaginative mind: mine, yours and the collective ones which form when people group.  It presses me to live a good life which includes engaging the troubles of our time and all that is known of where we come from, who we are, where we may go.  I make paintings and write short stories to surprise and exercise and use all of my self.  The paintings and stories work by starting with the mundane and taking reasonable steps to find an unexpected truth."

"These paintings are from the series Images Within Images which shows people using different technologies to intensify or attenuate what is happening to them right now.  A price will be paid for either."   September 6, 2010
