Bonnie Bolling

Bonnie Bolling lives in Long Beach with her family.  She is editor-in-chief of Verdad, a literary and art web magazine.  She is the winner of the Donald Drury Award for both fiction and poetry and a PEN USA/Emerging Voices recipient.  Her work has been published in Pearl Magazine, Chickasaw Plum, Verdad, Poetic Diversity and other magazines and newspapers.  Her current projects are a novel, entitled Doubting Thomas, and a collection of poetry.  She is a student of the creative writing program at Long Beach City College.  When she isn’t writing poems or re-writing her novel, she enjoys conversations with her sons, sipping wine and window shopping with her sisters.
