Sid Hoskins is a graduate of the University of Southern California and received his Master's Degree from California State University at Long Beach. He spent thirty-four years with the Los Angeles Unified School District and was a principal when he retired in 1984. He began his writing career at the age of fifty-seven. He has published over sixty articles and short stories and has been involved in television news work. He produced and appeared on his own cable TV show, Long Beach Forum, for five years. He and his wife of fifty-eight years, Leslie, live in Long Beach, California and have two children and two grandchildren. He has published two novels.
