Poetry by Benjamin Lizarraga

The Shoemaster George W. Bush

I’m so damn good looking.
I bet if I could run again,
Karl could get me elected to a third term.
I’m George W. Bush,
the 44th President of the United States.
Or am I the 43rd?
I’ll check with Karl on that.

I have to finish putting on my suit,
wrestling will be on soon.
I wonder if I could get Wrestlemania tickets.
Undertake is getting old, but his entrance is still the best.
What would my entrance music be?

I would have been a good wrestler.
Not counting the U.N.,
I can win over audiences.
I got good technical skills.
I once pinned Karl on Air Force One…that didn’t sound right.

I remember once when Raw was in Houston,
and my dad wouldn’t let me go.
He made me meet that Arafat fella.
I bet I could make my dad tap out.
Clinton might be a little more difficult.
I could use a fake shoe.

Where are the shoe strings on this shoe?
Oh wait, it’s a slip-on.
